In 2021, Ms. Joyce wrote a LinkedIn post in opposition to the Trump Administration’s actions on Schedule F. She calls government bureaucrats “world class, non-partisan, professionals” and claims “[W]e deserve better than this in return.”

Schedule F was a job classification briefly instituted under President Trump that allowed the president to dismiss high-ranking civil servants involved in policy making decisions from their positions – a crucial tool to stop unelected bureaucrats from impeding the policies of the elected president.
Following the 2021 death of former Vice President Walter Mondale, Ms. Joyce posted to LinkedIn about her experiences as a student with him at the University of Minnesota.
While it’s natural to post condolences following a mentor’s death, the fact that one of the most left-wing political figures in American history was one of her mentors speaks volumes.
