On January 25, 2024, Justin Lock appeared at a "United Against Hate" program, which, in essence, was just another platform to push a woke agenda under the guise of building trust between law enforcement and communities in the wake of the George Floyd incident. Lock called for embracing diversity and building “inclusive and equitable communities for all”:
“CRS believes that creating inclusion and equity are vital to building healthy and resilient communities,” said Justin Lock, CRS Chief of Staff Performing Duties of the Director. “When cities and residents work together against hate, we can restore respect, embrace the strength of diversity, and build inclusive and equitable communities for all.”

Justin Lock is another advocate for DEI in the federal government.
Justin Lock has worked on “rumor control responses to build civic trust following unrest after high profile officer involved shootings." The purpose of this outreach is to soft-peddle civil unrest in the wake of riots:
He also managed and led collaborative rumor control responses to build civic trust following unrest after high profile officer involved shootings including those of Philando Castile, Stephon Clark, Mario Woods, Willie McCoy, and George Floyd.
Given the riots that have broken out following these “officer involved shootings,” Justin Lock’s performance at his job is questionable.
